Fall 2025 Award Recipients

The Tri-City Little League received a grant in the amount of $15,304 to pay for the league chapter, player sponsorships, equipment, field upgrades, maintenance, and All-Star uniforms.

S.K.C.T.C. received a grant in the amount of $20,000.00 to complete critical facility repairs to the Kentucky Coal Museum in Benham.

The Meridzo Center received a grant in the amount of $25,000.00 to provide scholarships and a banquet for the students who attended Cumberland Elementary school and will graduate from Harlan County High School.

Hope House received a grant in the amount of $5,000.00 to purchase a refrigerator, microwave, commercial ice make, two range hoods, cabinets and countertops for the kitchen where the homeless and hungry are served meals twice a week.

Heritage Ministries received a grant in the amount of $20,000 for food boxes and Christmas gifts for 600 families in need.

Loaves and Fishes received a grant in the amount of $5,000 to purchase bulk food for the pantry that provides throughout the year to families in need.

Harlan County Fiscal Court received a grant in the amount of $ 16,000 to replace locks at the Benham Schoolhouse Inn.

Cumberland Elementary School Girls 5-8th grade softball received a grant in the amount of $10,000. This funding will go to purchase field supplies, equipment, and gear.

Cumberland Elementary School (Kindergarten) received a grant in the amount of $1,716 to purchase tickets, food, and fuel for the bus for an end of the year field trip.

The City of Lynch received a grant in the amount of $13,608.28 to create a baseball field for use of the TCLL and other baseball teams. Adding bleacher seating and safety features.

The City of Benham received a grant in the amount of $25,000 to replace the rood on the old Benham Hospital to ensure the building is not destroyed.

The City of Cumberland received a grant in the amount of $25,576.67 to build a maintenance garage along side of the original structure. this will shore up the original structure and provide an enclosure for city equipment.

St. Stephens Outreach received a grant in the amount of $5,000 to purchase food for the pantry that provides food monthly for families that are in need.
